Description: The purpose of this poroject is to secure a complete set of services to accomplish burning of existing slash piles on approximately 214 acres on the La Grande Ranger District of the Wallowa Whitman National Forest. There are an additional 167 acres of optional pile burning. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies and incidentals required to accomplish the work, including Contractor quality control. The Contractor will be responsible/liable for all fires resulting from the pile burning activities that escape the predetermined unit boudaries for 48 hours after unit ignition.
