- The U.S Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) National Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price, sole source, Commercial type contract with S. Harman & Associates, Incorporated under FAR Part 6. The vendor will conduct Retirement Planning Seminars in several CBP locations within the United States. The Seminars will cover both CSRS and FERS benefits with special attention provided to law enforcement and COPRA employee issues. Inquiries must be received by the Procurement Analyst by cob September 28, 2006. It is the contractors responsibility that information is received by the Procurement Analyst by cob September 28, 2006. Responses received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
