Description

The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type purchase order with SAIC Exploranium in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. Multiple awards are not being sought. Requirement: SAIC Exploranium will be upgrading the SAIC Exploranium GR135 to be the GR135 +. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this Notice must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Friday, September 29, 2006. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide the GR 135+ upgrade to the SAIC Exploranium GR 135. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer at: john.p.Callahan@customs.treas.gov No telephone submission of information will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
