Description

THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS ADDED TO REVISE THIS SPECIAL NOTICE - AWARD WILL BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 12 & PART 13. This is not a request for quotations or proposals. The Department of Homeland Security intends to make a sole-source award to Portal Solutions of Rockville, Maryland for a product identified as Ontolica Portal Search under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c) - Brand Name. Mondosoft, Inc. is the exclusive manufacturer of Ontolica Portal Search and Portal Solutions is the sole authorized reseller of this product. If your company believes this statement to be in error and is capable of fulfilling this requirement, please submit descriptive literature, fully documenting your capabilities, within one calendar day from the date this notice is posted. Your capability information may also be considered for future procurements. A determination to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and sent via e-mail to leah.wilson@hq.dhs.gov. Phone calls will not be accepted. If no responses are received, award will be made by September 30, 2006 in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
