- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F2X3C76255A100. This is a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Subpart 13 and is for the purchase of: 0001 Quantity (13). Description: Portable Rack with wheels. Made from the following materials and sizes: The racks shall be 32in wide x 44in long x 70in high. Each rack will have two (2) coat hooks attached at each turnout gear position at a slight angle. The racks will be primed and painted fire-truck-red. Attach four (4) 2in round yellow reflectors (approved by user prior to installation) on each end of each rack frame. Each rack frame will be made of 1 1/4in square tubing steel with a wire mesh expanded metal 1/8 (34/11). See attached picture. Price must include delivery to: 300 West Maxwell Blvd, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112. All quotes must be received no later than 29 Sep 2006, 4:00 PM CST. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-07, dated 03 Jan 2006. and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20051220. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is being solicited as a small business set aside and open market quotes are requested. Award will be made to one vendor. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 332999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by either reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1 ? Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Jan 2006) applies to this acquisition and is addended to delete paragraphs (e) Multiple offers and paragraph (h) Multiple Awards. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose proposal conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), and with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) before an award can be made. Both CCR and ORCA registrations can be completed online through http://www.bpn.gov, and WAWF registration can be completed at https://wawf.eb.mil. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the internet, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 - Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2006), FAR 52.212-3 Alternate I - Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items Alternate I (Apr 2002). The FAR clause, 52.212-4 - Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Sep 2005) applies to this acquisition.
