- Description
- The project consists of Security Guard Service for the U.S Army, Corp of Engineers, Galveston District. The contractor shall provide all work and materials necessary (management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies to provide guard services at the Galveston District. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business. The Government will award a contract resulting from this requirement to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation that is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The proposed contract will be awarded using Best Value Techniques. The proposed award will be for a base year with 4 options years. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 13 October 2006. The estimated cost range for this project is from $500,000 - $1,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 561512, the standard size is 11.5. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) system. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition- related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system.
