- NAICS Code: 811212 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a sole source contract for maintenance and support of the Vertere Inventory Management Software to Vertere. This software is used for chemical inventory management. It has unique design, performanceand quality specifications that are essential to EPA's particular research protocol, analytical, safety, health and envirnomental compliance needs. The Vertere Inventory Manager software's web-based system allows each EPA site and the headquarter group greater efficiency in retrieving data on the use and storage of hazardous chemical. Vertere is the sole owner of this Inventory Control System and retains all the rights to its applications, including the distribution rights, licensing and support. The Enivornmental Protection Agency has only one known source for this procurement.
