Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 09LASB06-ALS and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) requires a contractor to furnish and deliver approximately 2,160 cartons of paper to be used in copying machines for a base year period with four (4) one year option years. LINE ITEM 0001 ? Paper, copying. 2,160 cartons (approximately) The copying paper shall be 8.5" x 11", 20lbs, white, 92 bright, recycled with 30% post consumer content. Carton of paper should be delivered in cartons containing ten (10) reams of 500 sheets for a total of 5000 sheets per carton. Delivery of the paper will be two to three weeks apart, or as needed or requested, in quantities of 120 cartons or 3 skids per order. If requested, the paper shall be delivered the next business day. The base year period of performance for the acquisition is from October 1, 2006 thru September 30, 2007. The place of delivery and acceptance for the paper is: The National Labor Relations Board, 1099 14th Street, NW, C-200, Washington, DC 20570 between the hours of 7:30 A.M. & 4:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday (except Federal Holidays). The Contractor shall coordinate the delivery date and time with the point of contact at the NLRB. Delivery shall be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and are available in full text at: www.acquisition.gov. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The significant evaluation factors for this solicitation are: (i) Responsiveness to the Synopsis/Solicitation; (ii) Price, including option years; (iii) Quality of the product with the consideration to First Article testing FAR Subpart 9.3, for conformance with specified requirements in the Synopsis/Solicitation. (iv) Approach to the delivery of the product and service to which the Contractor will be held accountable. Offeror should include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ?
