Description
This amendment provides answers to potential offerors' questions. The due date for proposals remains unchanged. 1. Where in the proposal do we put the three audited/reviewed financial statements? An Appendix to the Cost Proposal? Answer: That would be fine. 2) Can we use either or both GSA schedules of the prime and our teaming partner? Our partner's schedule has many more labor categories than ours. Answer: You would use the rates from your schedule, and your teaming partner the rates from his schedule. 3) Are the labor categories in the sample tasks subsets of the labor categories we are bidding? Answer: You can interpret this as you wish. The sample tasks are provided to demonstrate your technical approach, not your pricing matrix. 4. For the production support sample task, how many emails and phone calls per month? Answer: You can provide your own estimate. 5) For the production support sample task, how many maintenance requests per month? Answer: You can provide your own estimate. 6. The wording in the solicitation for CMMI certification is not accurate. The Software Engineering Institute (governing body of CMMI) states: "It is a common misperception that the SEI certifies organizations at a certain maturity level. The SEI does NOT certify any organization. The correct terminology, if an organization wishes to announce that it has had an appraisal, is: "X organization has been appraised at Level X of the Capability Maturity Model (i.e. for Software, Integration, etc.) by an SEI-authorized Lead Appraiser." Further, Appraisal Classes consist of SCAMPI A, B or C. SCAMPI CLASS A is the most rigorous method and the only method that can result in a rating. Therefore, suggest modify the solicitation to require proof of a SCAMPI class A appraisal at CMMI level 2 by an SEI-authorized Lead Appraiser." Answer: 7. To improve readability, is Arial type font acceptable within a graphic? Answer: That is fine. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-JUL-2006). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 27-SEP-2006, BUT REAPPEARED IN THE FTP FEED FOR THIS POSTING DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
