- Notice of intent to award as a sole source requirement to Leeds Instruments Inc. for the following items: 2 EA U-V1063C U-TV0.63XC; 0.63X C-Mount adapter for BX, BX2, and IX2 with high transmittance up to 1000nm. For use with 2/3rds inch format, or smaller, sensors. 3 EA LPI-SRGLC Leeds Custom X.Y attachable long stalk 8 EA L163 Halogen lamp 12V, 100W (EVA). Use in precentered illuminators 5-UL112 & 5-UL113 3 EA LPI-COVER02 Dust cover, hood type for BX41 1 EA OQCLR5 Olympus Q-Color, 5 Megapixel digital color camera. Includes high resolution 2580 x 1944, 2/3" Bayer Mosaic color sensor; 30/24 bit digitization and preview options; FireWire interface (including card and cable); exposure/integration control from 1.6ms to 18 minutes; binning in color, up to 4x4; ROI selector for even faster frame rates (up to 100fps); live histogram for optimizing dynamic range; live gain, offset and zoom capabilities. Standard "C" mount. Power supplied through FireWire interface (with the exception of PC laptops). Also includes Qcapture Suite native software for PC (Win98SE, Win2000, WinME, WinXP) and MAC(OS9 w/Adobe Photoshop plug-in); Adobe Photoshop Elements. The camera can be controlled from Adobe Photoshop Elements via plug-in capabilities; TWAIN compliant interface allowing the Q-FIRE to be used with applications with TWAIN support in Windows-based operating systems; plug-in for NIH ImageJ, a java image processing program; available free from the National Institutes of Health. This proposed contract action is only a small open market portion of a much larger project to be awarded under an already existing contractual vehicle. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be reviewed and documented for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
