- REQUIREMENT: The United States Government is requesting expressions of interest for approximately 25,000 usable square feet of Class A office space and 10,000 usable square feet of related office space for the New England Field Office Headquarters for Immigration & Customs Enforcement / Detention & Removal Operations. DELINEATED AREA: Offered Properties shall be within one (1) of the following four(4) locations: 1. within the City of Boston and West of Interstate 93, or 2. within the City of Cambridge, or 3. within a five-mile radius of Hanscom Air Force Base, Lexington, or 4) located within the South Boston section of the City, or south and west of the City proximate to either the Southeast Expressway, Interstate 93 South, or Interstate 95 South and North up to the Mass Pike, Interstate 90, State Route 3, State Route 24. This latter area generally includes the communities of Milton, Braintree, Quincy, Randolph, Canton, Norwood, Needham, Newton, Wellesley and Waltham. TERM: The term of the lease will be 10 years. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy as soon as possible. OTHER: Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the offeror is representing more than one property, the offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of the owner. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Building Name and Address, and location of space in the buidling. 2. Rentable Square Feet offered and rate per rentable square foot (specifying servies and utilities included) 3. ANSI/BOMA Usable Square Feet and the Common Area Factor. 4. Contact Information for Owner or Authorized Agent.
