The Electronic Warfare (EW) Directorate requests the Brand Name of four (4) EMI Test Receivers, four (4) removable Hard Disk (Falsh Card) Operating System WinXP, four (4) 2nd Hard Disk (Flash Card) for ESU-B18, four (4) Time Domain Scan FFT based scan for fast overview measurements. 2. The ESU40 EMI Test Receivers will be used for typical customer test objectives at the Benefield Anechoic Facility (BAF) requiring radio frequency (RF) measurements at multiple positions outside the test article and/or from multiple installed antennas with high frequency data point resolution. Prior to testing, it is also required that the measurement system accuracy and setup be verified. With the increase testing in recent years, equipment availability for pre-test verifications and dryruns has not been sufficient. The use of four identical measurement systems allows for reduced test time from taking parallel measurements, simplified automation software, and consistent data products from each measurement system. Attempting to use any other model would not allow for that reduction in test time and the parallel measurements as required. The salient functional characteristics that are essential to the Electronic Warfare Directorate are as follows: ? EMI Test Receiver, Spectrum Analyzer and Real Time Analyzer in one box ? Compliant to CISPR 16-1-1 and FCC (commercial and automotive standards) ? EMI Receiver and Spectrum Analyzer Modes ? Fully compliant to MIL-STD-461 A-E and DO-160 (military and aerospace standard) ? Internal preselection is standard and is a key difference between ESU and its competitors. The preselector can be used or switched off in analyzer mode. ? Time domain analysis: Click rate analyzer, specialized FFT ? 50MHz RBW option ? External Source Controller ? Pulse protected RF input ? WinXP operating system ? Detectors: Mil-Std ? Settable sweep point values: 155 to 30,001 ? Portable (~35 lbs) ? Sweep speed: 150 kHz-30 MHz = 22 sec, 1-18 GHz = 3.4 sec ? 3dB filter shape resolution bandwidths ? 10 MHz resolution bandwidth or greater ? Custom internal correction factors over frequency ? Minimum 60,000 data points per trace ? 40 GHz RF measurement capability ? Removable hard drives and approved declassification process for internal memory ? GPIB and Ethernet control ? USB Ports 3.The key unique capabilities are: Both receiver mode and spectrum analyzer mode, 2 million data points per trace in receiver mode, 30,001 data points per trace in analyzer mode, MIL-STD-461E resolution bandwidths using 6dB filter bandwidth shape, and removable hard drives for security. 4.If you should have any questions feel free to contact either myself ROBERTA J. RUNDLE, NH-III Acquistion & Contracts Branch, at 277-8651 or Dave Mulvey at 7-5744.
