Description

This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation, W9124Q-06-R-TEST, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The changes are remova l of: Length Measuring System; Additional Sections per 20 foot (6.09 m); and Additional Cylinder Stroke per foot (.30 m). See below for changes under the following options section. Also, for clarification closing is at 0900 MDT. This announcement const itutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for a 150,000 LB Test Bed Model 150K 40 foot (12.19 m) Base Section. brand name Roberts Testing or its equal. The following st andard model includes: Frame; Hydraulic Cylinder Maximum Pull Pin to Pin (approx.); Load Cell 5 to 1 Design Factor (minimum); Safety Cover, Manual; Power Unit; Test35 Software; iSensor A to D Converter; Load Control Semi-Auto; Cylinder Speed Adjustment. The following specifications apply: Total length 40 feet (12.19 m); 31feet (9.45 m); Speed of Cylinder (approx.) 36 in/min (.91 m); Hydraulic Cylinder Stroke 48 inches (1.22 m); Approximate Width Outside (standard) .48 inches (1.22 m); Center Line Height (standard) 12.75 inches (.32 m); Rail Height (step over) 15 inches (.38 m); Electrical Motor 7.5 HP 220/440V, 3PH, 60Hz, Amps 26/13. The following options include: Hydraulically Operated Cover; Small Cylinder for Testing 2,000 to 50,000 pounds, (4.44 kN to 222.41 kN) w/Load Cell, 5 inches (7.54 cm), Bore x 48 inches (1.22 m) Stroke; Computer, Monitor and Printer (preloaded with Test35); Miniature Camera, 30 foot Cable, 115VAC to 12VDC Power Supply with Camera Mount; Hydraulic Gauge (6 inches) with Lbs. Force (back up unit); Calibration Training and Advise on Installation; Machine should break test at 150,000 pounds; machine needs to be calibrated every year as per ASTME4. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. Award will be made FOB Destination (White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico 88002). Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. Payment will be made by Government Credit Card under Net 30 Terms. You must be regist ered in the Central Contractors Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). EVALUATION CRITERIA / PROCEDURES: Reference: FAR clause 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive and responsible offeror.
