Description

This solicitation is for machine and hand tree planting on the Department of Energy?s Savannah River Site (SRS) outside Aiken, SC. The contractor is to provide all equipment, labor, supervision, tools and other incidentals, and execute all work in accordance with the performance work statement. The resulting contract will be a performance based service contract with a base period and 4 option years. The size standard for this small business set-aside is $6.5 million under NAICS code 115112. Solicitation should be available at this website on or about 25 Sep 2006. SRS is a restricted access Government facility. A minimum of 72 hours notification is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens.
