- This amendment is issued to change the due date from October 6 to October 10. The solicitation is issued on September 8 rather than September 6. This is a total small business set-aside instead of a partial small business set-aside. The work shall consist of restoring wetland hydrology to the site. One dike and one pond will be constructed. One water level control structure with pipe will be installed. The limitations on the borrow and waste areas are clearly defined to complement the purpose of the project. All areas outside the pool area that are disturbed during construction will be seeded and mulched. Major items of work include: Clearing (by mowing) - 42.4 acres; Seeding and Mulching - 2 acres; Earthfill - 10,057 Cu. Yds.; Plastic Pipe, 10" ID, SCH 40, - 100 Lin. Ft.; and the furnishing and installation of one water control structure. Performance time is 44 calendar days. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on September 21, 10 a.m. at a place to be named in the solicitation. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be posted on September 8, 2006.
