Description
THERE IS NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AVAILABLE. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE VIA THE INTERNET (SEE WEBSITE INFORMATION BELOW). TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) seeks to award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on the basis of a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS Code 443120 ? Computer and Software Stores. The contract will acquire a variety of state-of-the-art microcomputers including, but not limited to, laptops, printers, and supporting peripherals and components, as well as responsive contract management; operating system software, including software upgrades and updates; hardware and software manuals and publications (electronic format); ordering and delivery; warranty; and technology infusion and replacement of obsolete or out-of-production items. For this solicitation and any resulting contract, the USPTO has obtained a waiver of the Non-manufacturer Rule from the Small Business Administration (SBA). As a result of this waiver, small businesses may offer the domestic products of a large business manufacturer. USPTO anticipates this acquisition to be for a base period of one (1) year with nine (9) additional one-year option periods. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm on or about October 16, 2006. Potential Offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resulting contract.
