- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of providing Trash/Refuse Removal and Disposal services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution located in El Reno, Oklahoma. The successful contractor shall provide trash removal services to include pick-up and haul trash produced by the FCI. These services will include: (A) Rental fees for six (6) 42 cubic yard self-contained compactors, (B) Rental fee for one (1) 40 cubic yard open top container, (C) Rental fee for one (1) 16 cubic yard open container, (D) Rental fees for nineteen (19) 90 gallon residential rolling containers, (E) Pull fees for self contained compactors at an estimated 312 pulls/year/total, (F) Pull fees for open top units at an estimated 104 pulls/year/total, (G) Pull fees for rolling containers at an estimated 52 pulls/year/total, (H) Pull fees for unscheduled pick-ups of either compactors or containers at an estimated 64 pulls/year/total, it is anticipated the services will be required for the base year and four option years. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about September 20, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about October 18, 2006. The solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562111 with a size standard of $11.5 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
