- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. This requirement is for the purchase of 103 FNBDT Office/STE, Office Terminal (ISDN/PSTN) 5810-01-459-6441. It is the Government's intent to award a contract on a sole-source basis to L-3 Communications Corporation, 1 Federal St., Camden, NJ 08103. The requirement is for an office/STE that provides encryption of voice and data for digital and anolog networks in a single integrated package, that is backward compatible with STU-III and PSTN connectivity. The terminal must be NSA certified at classification levels ranging from unclassified through TS/SCI. Solicitation Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors-Commercial Items hereby incorporated by reference.
