- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, the Minneapolis VA Medical Center (VAMC) anticipates entering into a sole source procurement with Camtronics Medical Systems, Inc to provide full hardware, software maintenance support for the VERICIS CPACS equipment for the period of October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. Support includes but is not limited to: telephone support 6am through 6pm Monday through Friday with a one hour response within support time frames, proactive remote monitoring, all repairs completed during coverage hours, on-site service as necessary, preventative maintenance and software upgrades. Equipment located at the VAMC Minneapolis, MN. The government believes that Camtronics Medical Systems is the only manufacturer that will satisfy the agency requirements. FSC Code J065 applies and NAICS code is 334517 with a small business size of 500 employees. Solicitation and award procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 for commercial items will be followed. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Solicitation number RFQ-618-66-07 has been assigned. Formal bid documents are not available. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements. Interested parties that feel they have the ability to provide the required service/supply have seven (7) calendar days from publication of this notice to submit in writing their qualifications and capabilities information including technical data and pricing in to this office for consideration. Such qualifications, capabilities and pricing will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
