- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Sioux Valley Hospital USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD for blood products and services. The FSC Code is 6505 and the NAICS Code for small business size standards is 621991, $9.0 Mil. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 based on the determination that the Government?s minimum needs can best be satisfied by supplies and services that are available from one source. Contractor must be able to provide the VAMC?s requirements for Blood Products and Services on an as needed basis to include emergency deliveries, to be made within 60 minutes of notification of need. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interest parties who believe they can satisfy this requirement must supply information about their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:30pm CDT September 22, 2006. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government and can be sent via FAX (605-333-6829) or mail. The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Point of contact ?
