- The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas intends to negotiate sole-source procurement with Balenko & Associates, Inc. of Little Rock, AR for the purchase of Arthrex Instruments. The purchase of these instruments for shoulder, elbow and wrist procedures are recommended by our orthopedic staff and the equipment is the only products that will meet CAVHS needs, as it must interface with existing proprietary government-owned equipment. This is commercial item procurement being conducted under FAR Part 12 and 13 for acquisition of commercial supplies. The applicable NAISC Code is 339113. The anticipated award date is 9/13/2006.This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No Solicitation will be made available and information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to conduct and compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.
