- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Purchase Request F2Q3126250A100 is a Request for Quotation. Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. The requirement is subject to the availability of funds. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (iv)This acquisition will be 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 332999 with a size standard of 500 employees. (v) 0001 ? TMRS2-48CS magnetic sweeper or equal (Specifications: 48? x 5? x 3?, 90 lbs.; Exteme Duty Steel Housing ? Vehicle Foreign Object Damage Prention Magnets) (56 ea) (vi) n/a (vii) The date of delivery shall be no later 30 November 2006 to 1 FW, 65 Sweeney Blvd; Langley AFB, VA 23665; FOB Destination. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government will award a firm-fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price factors considered.
