- Description
- The 1st Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Motorola for a SITE LENS network management system for the use and control of Morotola SMARTNET II trunked radio system. Market research indicated that the system is unique to Motorola. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 12 Sep 06. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
