Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement FA4861-06-Q-B028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. The NAICS for this solicitation is 334310. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 750 employees. This solicitation is unrestricted. This is a commercial request for the following equipment to include installation: Fixed frame custom screen, 140? X 100?, 1 each; Multi input display processor (for 6 computer sources) custom configuration for single display, RGB Superview 3000 or equal (to include manufacturer demonstration and Hand Off Training at no additional charge), 1 each; Projector mount, 1 each; Ceiling adaptor and support device for heavy weight projector, 1 each; Multimedia projector, VXGA Resolution, 7700 ANSI Lumens Ultra Extended graphics, Sanyo or equal, 1 each; Custom audio/visual cable, 1 lot; Installation of two each flat wall mount 42? plasmas including cabling from in-room PC, 1 each; speakers (to support audio from wall mounted plasma screens, 2 each; VCP Software (Virtual Control Panel for Multi-Input provided at no charge); including all hardware, and equipment for installation. The contractor shall be located w/in a 50-mile radius with immediate telephone support and on-site response time of approximately 1 hour. A site visit will be conducted at 0900 on 13 September 2006 at Nellis AFB NV. Site visit minutes will be made available upon request to any interested parties. Pricing shall include delivery FOB destination to Nellis AFB NV 89191, and installation. If submitting equal items, product literature must be submitted with the quote. Quotes should be in the following format: price for each item independently, price for combined line items, including shipping cost FOB destination, and installation. Award Basis: Best Value. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offer: technical capability, price, and delivery schedule. The award shall be made in the aggregate. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is also applicable. In addition to the price list, offerors shall submit with their offer a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with Alternate I and 52.223-4, Recovered Material Certification.
