Description

HQ ACC CONS, Langley AFB, VA intends to award a sole source, contract to Remotec Inc. for 206 Dual Channel Radio Assemblies (C3860-8440) and 143 plow kits (Plow-Mini). Currently, Remotec Incorporated is the only known supplier of the dual channel radio assembly and plow kit to be attached to the F6A and HD-1 explosive ordinance device robots. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is authorized IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c )(1). No solicitation document exists. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement via email to kyle.covell@langley.af.mil before COB 14 Sep 2006. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
