- 001 ATTENTION CONTRACTORS: Funds are not currently available for this solicitation. Award of a contract as a result of this solicitation is contingent upon the availabiltiy of appropriated funds from which payment of this contract may be made. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government for contract purposes until funds are made available to the contracting officer. The contracting officer will confirm availability of funds in writing to the contractor upon award of contract. </p> 002 A site visit will be held on 13 September 2006. All potential offerors are to meet at the 82d Contracting Office at Sheppard AFB at 10:00 am. Since this project is on the flightline, all offerors must inform the contract specialist if they are planning to attend the site visit. </p> Project ENJ T-6 Aircraft Run-Up Area Sheppard Air Force Base, TX will be issued in the near future. Work will consist of furnishing all necessary plant; labor and materials to construct a T-6 Aircraft Run-Up Area. Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, the removal of pavement markings, installation of painted pavement markings, concrete and asphalt demolition, installation of concrete pavement/slab, installation of asphalt pavement, and installation of concrete holdback blocks used for securing aircraft during run-ups. The contractor shall coordinate all work with the occupants, the contracting officer and the contracting officer?s representative, who may be an engineering contract inspector, a design manager or a quality assurance person. Contractor progress is measured and reported in terms of completed, installed work. Performance period is 100 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Relevant past performance must include work on an active airfield. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation is being issued as a competed set aside for HUBZone certified firms. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 237310 with a size standard of $31 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://fbo.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and ORCA in order to receive award of a contract.
