- JT3, LLC at Edwards Air Force Base is seeking a Technical Service contractor to provide support to the Airborne Laser (ABL) Beam Control Fire Control (BCFC) Test and Evaluation Team. The individual must have experience in research and development of lasers and optical systems, including the Space Based Laser (SBL) Program. The individual must provide technical advice and recommendations to the Air Force Flight Test Center engineering team in test planniing, execution, data reduction and reporting phases of the ABL flight program; must be able to define and prioritize highly technical test objectives; interact with senior program engineers and program managers to assure testing of the ABL is performed in the safest, most efficient, manner possible; and assist in establishing processes, designing and developing test methodologies, and in creating data processing algorithms for the High Energy Laser (HEL) testing. This task is under the Electronic Warfare Directorate. A security clearance at the Secret level or higher is required.
