- Charleston AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to ADT Security Services, Inc. Alexandria, VA for preventative maintenance for Wing ADT alarm system to include parts and labor for indicated period of agreement. For the period of 01 Oct 06 ? 30 Sep 07. Description: contractor will furnish all plant, labor, material, parts, equipment necessary to tear down and quote (as required) and/or repair the affected item(s) in accordance with manufacturer?s specifications and/or best commercial practice. All defective parts removed as a result of repairs required to place this item in satisfactory working condition will be returned or left with the repaired item. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. North American Industrial Classification Standard, 561621, Size Standard, $11.5 million, applies to this procurement. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov . Contractors are asked to submit their TAX ID number with their proposal.
