- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/reference number is F3Z3456241A100; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11 and Defense DCN 20060711. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337125. The business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7195. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5021. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Item 0001:72 EA: Simmons Beautyrest Classic Chadfield 550 Twin XL Mattress-Pillow Top, 544 Coil Count, or Equal. In order to be considered an "equal," the mattress must be 38" X 80" long, 544 coil count, Coil Gauge - 15 gauge, border wire - 6 gauge, edge supports - 2 rows of 13 1/3 ga edge support coils; border- quilted damask, border fill-3/4 oz fiber; coil support-1.2" block foam, deck upholstery-1" convoluted foam, quilting-quilted damask, first layer-1 oz "bountyloft" fiber, second layer-5/16" foam, third layer-1 1/2 convoluted foam, 12 1/4 " mattress height, pocketed coils (independently encased pre-compressed 9.75" to 7.75"), Warranty must be 10/10 Non-Prorated. If the offer is for an "equal," submit the manufacturer's specifications for these items with the offer. Items must be delivered to: 411 Airman Drive, Travis AFB, California 94535.
