Description
Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a Request For Quotation. Reference Purchase Request number F2V3036171A100 on all documentation to include the Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR THE FABRICATION AND DELIVERY OF CONCRETE LEGO BLOCKS AT AVON PARK AIR FORCE RANGE, FLORIDA GENERAL TASKING DESCRIPTION 1. Concrete blocks should be constructed from minimum of 3000 psi concrete. Recommended mix is 400 lbs per cubic yard of #4 stone finished with #57 stone and washed sand. 2. Vendor will deliver and unload finished blocks to Foxtrot Range Holding Area; 500 each 10' L x 30" H x 24" W concrete lego blocks and 49 each 5" L x 30" H x 24" W lego blocks. 3. Concrete blocks will be reinforced with 1 pound per yard of Nicon fiber mesh. 4. Blocks will have 2 each 3.5" H x 12" W forklift slots in each block. The forklift points will be centered on the block with outer edge of the slot located 2' from the outer edges on the 10' block and 1' from the outer edge on the 5" block. 5. All blocks will have parallel sides and perpendicular edges. 6. Contractor will be responsible to deliver, unload and stack the blocks undamaged at the Foxtrot Range Holding Area. 7. Contractor may opt to perform fabrication on site. All entries to the Foxtrot Range Holding Area must be performed around the operation schedule. 8. Contractor will be responsible for containing any rubbish/waste generated by the work force, work processes or material delivery at the end of each day. The contractor will remove all contractor-generated rubbish by the end of the contract period. 9. Period of performance: Quantity 500 each 10' L x 30" H x 24" W concrete lego blocks 49 each 5" L x 30" H x 24" W lego blocks. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES: The following FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses apply: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial. In accordance with 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, offers will be evaluated based on price, technical acceptability, and past performance records.
