- The following question have been asked regarding solication number W15QKN-06-R- 0323. 1. Q- The synopsis references Government Furnished Material for LAP. Are these also part of this solicitation effort? A- Regarding the GFM, we meant that these items will be provided as GFM to the LAPing facility. 2. Q- Would the contractor be required to work with energetic materials? A- The contractor is not required to work with energetic materials. 3. Q- In one of the Cone Tail TDPs, there is a drawing, 9327838 on the PDF file. I only received page 1 of 2. I assume that page 2 will be on the CD version? A- The drawing is referring to the body load assembly drawing. It is called out in the parts list for the tail cone. It is there for reference. Page 2 was not included in the package as it is not necessary to make the tail cone. 4. Q- I am a bit confused about what it is you want to purhase. The individual line items only list the name of the item. But according to Mr. Markowitch, at least for the "tailcones", you don't want the whole assy (part not to include "obturating band and the body load assy.") May I suggest that dwg #s be used i/l/o or in addition to the name of the components. There is no component called a "body load assy" on the talicone dwg or p/l. A- The drawings I am referring to are 9327838, Projectile 81mm Smoke RP M819 Loading assembly, and 9310339 Ring Obturating. The loading assembly is listed in the tail cone assembly parts list as a reference drawing. Ring Obturating is also listed in the parts list but is not being purchased as part of this procurement. 5. Q- The solicitation states assembly of components. The drawings also indicate products used in the assembly. Am I to understand that only the body tube (drwg 9327837) a tail cone (934962A) are to be quoted? A- "They are to make the entire body tube and tail cone assemblies. This is to include assembly."
