Description

This solicitation is submitted for competition under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, has a performance-based, service requirement for the operation and management of its on-site warehouse facilities, including stock ordering and on-site furniture moving services. The work is located in Yuma County, Arizona. The basic operations and management work is being issued as a firm-fixed price CLIN with stock ordering to be handled as a cost-reimbursement CLIN. The anticipated solicitation issue date is on or about September 25, 2006, via electronic posting at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov, but all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The Government reserves the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if the website becomes inoperable or if the Contracting Officer determines it is in the Government's best interest to do so. Interested parties should register to receive e-mail notifications pertaining to the solicitation or visit the website after September 25, 2006, to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments and/or notices to be included on the offerors list in order to encourage subcontracting and partnering/joint venture opportunities. Award will be made using best-value source-selection procedures and FAR Part 15 negotiated procurement procedures. Offerors will be asked to submit a technical and cost proposal for the contract, as well as relevant past performance information. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 493110, the size standard is $23.5 Million. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available through the Internet site. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award.
