Description: This is a modification to a previous announced procurement action. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number Q5320060134 GULF ISLANDS NATIONAL SEASHORE, DAVIS BAYOU CAMPGROUND, HAZARD TREE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL SERVICES (PMIS # 118685) is amended as follows: 1. Delete NAICS code 336221 and Replace with NAICS code 561730 Landscaping Services. Size Standard remains unchanged. 2. FAR clause 52.212-1, paragraph (h) Multiple awards is amended to add ALL OR NONE qualification. A single award is anticipated. 3. In order to help clarify questions raised during the site visit, the following response is submitted: A. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR'S REGISTRY (CCR): Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. B. DEQ COMPLIANCE: Pursuant to FAR clause 52.212-4 (q) Other compliances, the Contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, executive orders, rules and regulations applicable to its performance under this contract. C. ILLEGAL ALIENS: Under the Immigration and Nationality Act ("INA"), it is unlawful for a person or entity to hire, recruit, or refer for a fee: (1) an alien, knowing that he or she is an unauthorized alien; or (2) any individual without complying with the INA employment eligibility verification procedures. The employment eligibility verification requirements of the INA are enforced by the Department of Homeland Security's Bureau of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ("BCIS") (formerly the Immigration and Naturalization Service) and administrative law judges. D. LANDFILLS: There are several local area landfills, one of which is located six (6) miles away or an estimated 45-60 minutes round trip. E. PAYMENT: A lump sum amount via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) shall be made for items accepted by the Government. Prompt Payment Act apply. F. RELOCATION OF FEMA TRAILERS: The Park will only relocate trailer upon prudent advice from the contractor. G. TYPE OF TREES: All marked trees to be cut and removed under this contract action are Slash Pine. 4. The closing date remains unchanged. All bids are due on or before COB Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Facsimile bid not accepted.
