- Description
- Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC) intends to procure the services of Naval Automation Group to provide materials, labor, tools and equipment to install fourteen (14) Radar Tank Level Indicators (TLI) Sounding Tube Radars, and forty one (41) Radar TLI Cable in Tank Radars, T-ALT 069 to a vessel during its Regular Overhaul (ROH). The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The required performance period is Mid September 2006 to Mid December 2006. The closing date of the solicitation will be 15 September 2006, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Naval Automation Group, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 11 September 2006. The closing date of the solicitation will be 15 September 2006, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
