- Description
- NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a sole source delivery order with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office (JPO) to for the development, testing, and fabrication of various items of peculiar support equipment as well as supportability data for the CV-22 and the MV-22 Aircraft. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304?(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Section 6.302-1. This is newly identified support equipment for which Bell-Boeing, the original equipment manufacturer, has developed the required technical data. Bell-Boeing is the only source possessing the requisite system knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data needed to develop, test, and produce the required support equipment.
