- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO in unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, NSWCDD, intends to purchase Sole Source, from valid re-sellers of Motorola, a quantity of 10 - G4 Processor Board MCP7457 1.3ghz, part number MVME 6100-0171. The equipment will be used at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to support the Advanced Multi-configuration Environment Simulator (AMES) for the AN/SQQ-89 UCFS legacy programs including MK 116 Mods 4&7. For the past 5 plus years, Tactical Decision Support Subsystem (TDSS) equipment has been in use. The processors need to be updated to keep up with the demands of the newer software programs. The sole source nature of this procurement is to maintain compatibility; therefore to minimize interruptions to AMES, these items must be a Motorola product to ensure operational compatibility with the original Motorola processor board that was installed to support AMES. The equipment will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date will be 13 September 2006 with an anticipated award date of 18 September 2006. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 423690. All items quoted, must be inclusive of shipping and handling fees. Quotes must include a valid DUNS and CAGE Code. All items will be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order unless noted on quote expected delivery time. All warranty and discount information shall be clearly identified in the quote. This acquisition will occur via a Firm Fixed-Pr ice contract. All items shall be delivered and accepted FOB Destination to the Receiving Officer, Bldg 125, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. No deliveries will be accepted on Federal holidays. The GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. IF QUOTING GSA SCHEDULE, ALL QUOTES MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION TO INCLUDE SHEDULE AND PAGE NUMBERS OF ITEMS QUOTED. WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION, THE GOVERNMENT MAY NOT CONSIDER YOUR QUOTE.
