- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following forward looking infrared video cameras and accessory kit on a Sole Source basis manufactured by FLIR Systems Incorporated, 70 Castilian Drive, Goleta, California, 93117. Item No. 1, qty 2, Part No. 412-0035-10-07, Photon/50mm OEM camera core; Item No. 2, qty 1, Part No. 421-0021-00, Photon OEM Accessory Kit. This is sole source procurement because only the specified items will satisfy the Government?s requirements. FLIR Systems Incorporated is the exclusive manufacturer. NO SUBSTITUTIONS. All required items must be new or warranted like new. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00 PM ET on 13 September 2006. The anticipated award date is 20 September 2006. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be no later than 30 days after award date. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged at DLGR_NSWC_XDS12@navy.mil but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-4089 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS12D, Bldg. 183, Rm. 104, 17320 Dahlgren Rd, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100.
