Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract for Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) umbilical cable as required by the Military Sealift Command ? SMS-DET-NWSY-CAS, Williamsburg, VA. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 335929. The size standard is 1000 employees. The acquisition method will be completed using FAR part 13.5. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form and available on 9/13/06. When the Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award.
