- Description
- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to procure for 5 Gallon and 55 Gallon Storage & Shipping Drums. This solicitation will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332439 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Place of delivery is FOB destination at multiple delivery sites within the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Bremerton, WA 98314. This procurement will be awarded using the Commercial, Simplified Acquisition Procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 and 13. Resulting award will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract for a Base year of performance plus two (2) one-year option periods. Resulting award may be made by Lot. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Naval Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web site at www.neco.navy.mil. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 13 September 2006, with offers due on or about 25 September 2006. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
