Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to ORE Offshore., West Wareham, MA, 02576 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for six (6) each Edge Tech 8012A transducers in accordance with the Salient Characteristics, the conversion of an 8011A Deck Unit to work with the 8012A Transducer and supply parts and instructions for the conversion of five 8011A Deck Units to work with an 8012A Transducer. The anticipated contract value is $24,850.00. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NAICS 334511 with business size of 750 employees applies. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
