- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-06-T-0890 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 315999 and the business size standard is NTE 5.0 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001 through 0024. The synopsis of required Items and descriptions are as follows. Wetsuits, Gloves, Snorkels, Masks, other gears to be worn underwater in a combat environment. The Government will accept the brand name or equal products as specified on the Request for Quotation. Equal products' salient characteristics are described in the Request for Quotation. The Government requires a commercial Door to Door shipment service to Okinawa Japan. The Government may make single award to the responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value, trade-off evaluation factors of technical and price, and delivery date. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation) will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed.
