Description

The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBA at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to AGFA Corporation for the purchase of ADC Impax Maintenance. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is issued as FIT4AS6131A200. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339111, with small business standard size 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Numbered note #22 applies to this acquisition. Sole Source Justification Statement: The Air Force Hospital at Eglin AFB, Florida has a requirement to maintain hardware and Software for ADC and IMPAX equipment. All ADC and IMPAX equipment currently operated by the hospital is AGFA proprietary equipment. It is critical to provide software and hardware maintenance support that is compatible with the system already in place. No other company can provide this exact system support. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001, Service Maintenance ? Base year hardware and software maintenance agreement for ADC and IMPAX equipment. For questions, contact John A.
