Description

The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBA at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract under the authority of FAR 6.302 to General Dynamics Communications Systems, 77 A Street, Needham, MA 02494 for Taclane Router Devices. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is issued as FIT0EK6270A2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334290, with small business standard size of 750 employees. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001, Qty (2) Two, Each; TACLANE-Router (KG-175B-1) Devices. Part # MR-11901-1. Includes external AC power adapter, one RS232 console cable, two duplex fiber optic cables, four 10 Base T cables, one spare CIK with tag and one Operator Manual. This encryption equipment is required to support an electronic warfare mission and enhance connectivity at various user sites. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
