Description

The Government intends to award a single, firm, fixed-price contract to a SMALL BUSINESS Contractor whose proposal is determined to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered, All or None": STATEMENT OF WORK MAINTENANCE OF DFAS DENVER RICOH COPIERS for FY 2007 POC: Kaye Galloway Administrative Services (DFAS-RSAB) 6760 East Irvington Place Denver CO 80279-8000 DSN 929-7555 Comm 303-676-7555 Fax 303-676 6839 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Provide Cost-per-Copy Plan or FIXED price plan quote for 31 RICOH Copiers and provide cost sub-totals for month and year. Plan includes 4 hour, same business day response, unlimited full copier maintenance service including repair parts. Estimated Monthly usage is 250,000 copies per month. See attached list for the Ricoh copiers. OBJECTIVES AND REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall provide trained and qualified service personnel to perform labor, provide unlimited service calls, including parts, drums, toner, developer, misfeeds, and copy quality problems, regularly scheduled maintenance (PMs), to include fuser rollers, PM kits, and rebuilds. Response time must be within 4 hours of request. Response time for service requests after 12pm will be provided the next business day. The contractor provides the required copier equipment, accessories, attachments, copy-control devices and systems, all consumable supplies (except copying paper and transparency films), and full maintenance services including repair parts. GENERAL INFORMATION The contractor shall perform the services required under this contract during DFAS DENVER business hours, 7:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Local Time, Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays. Base Access and Hours: The contractor shall enter the base through the Buckley Annex main gate. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance for this project will start on October 1, 2006 and continue through September 30, 2007. DFAS has the right to extend or terminate this SOW at its sole discretion. COMPENSATION AND PAYMENT Compensation is a fixed monthly fee based on the customer's guaranteed minimum number of copies per month. Estimated monthly usage is 250,000 copies per month. Quotes MUST be submitted via email to steven.marshall@dfas.mil prior to solicitation closing and must contain CAGE code, FED TAX ID #, small business status. This procurement is needed for continued maintenance service for existing equipment at the DFAS-Denver site. Procuring new equipment or maintenance service that is not compatible and consistent with the current equipment in place would not be in the best interest of the government.
