Description

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy intends to issue an order for Software Maintenance Services for proprietary hardware in the Kongsberg Visual Bridge Simulator System to Kongsberg Maritime Simulation, Inc., West Mystic, MA on a sole source basis. Kongsberg Maritime Simulation, Inc. provides support services for Kongsberg simulator systems. The period of performance shall be 1 November 2006 through 30 September 2007. In recognition of the Academy's need for continued support of its Visual Bridge Simulator System, this order will allow the Academy to obtain support from the source vendor. See Numbered Note 22. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
