Description

This office intends to competitively award a FFP type contract for 1ea special protected sedan(FSC 2310)including drivers training. Vehicle shall be assembled as an integral armor structural component design. The armoring shall be performed during assembly line manufacturing of the vehicle. After market,up-amoring of the vehicle is not acceptable. Minimum ballistic protection shall be IAW testing procedures utilized by the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) and U.S. testing certification procedures. The vehi cle must conform to current Department of State (DOS) specifications and standards for explosive, blast and arms protection. Vehicle is for overseas use and shall meet the applicable requirements of the German Strassenverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung (StZVO). Vehicle shall be delivered 150 DARO or earlier. Delivery shall be FOB destination within Germany. Anticipated issue date of the RFQ is on or about 23 Oct 06 with a closing date of 23 Nov 06. The procurement is being conducted IAW requirements of FAR Part 13, Subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Interested parties may request a copy of the SOL from the above POC (email/fax).
