Description

This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 15 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Commercial Item Provisions, 52.212-1, 52.212-3 [to be completed by vendor], 52.212-4, 52.212-5 are part of this solicitation - full text can be found at http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html. Delivery date no later than 30 days after award. Email proposals will be accepted at angie.miller@fl.usda.gov. This is a small business set-aside. COMBINE SPECIFICATIONS: Conventional Combine: Quantity 1, Header/Platform: Reel type with spring teeth for feeding material Flexible (no rigid mount), Width 15-18 feet, Quick-attachment, Can adjust to multiple reel speeds, In-cab adjustment, Reversible (if available). Cylinder: Length 40 in. minimum, Diameter 20 in. minimum, Speed range of 300-800 rpm, In-cab speed adjustment. Concave: Rasp-bar type-minimum of 8 bars, Wide range of concave space settings, In-cab adjustment. Separating/Cleaning system: Fan speed adjustable to 300-1100 rpm, Sieves fully adjustable, Straw walkers 4 minimum, Engine: Air-cooled diesel engine 120 hp minimum, Hydrostatic control. Cab: Enclosed, Air conditioned. Any available small seed harvesting equipment or kits offered by manufacturer should be included.
