Description

The work consists of renovating 3250 S.F. at the Lava Lands Visitor Center and constructing a 1500 S.F. addition. Demolition work includes the removal of non-bearing interior walls, ductwork, electrical panels, and wiring. Construction includes: Concrete, Carpentry, Finishes, Electrical, Lighting and HVAC upgrades to meet current codes and energy standards. Restrooms receive new fixtures and upgrades to meet current ADA/ABA standards. Estimated price range is: $500,000 - $1,000,000. The work is located on the Deschutes National Forest, Lava Lands Visitor Center, 58201 S. Hwy. 97, Bend, OR. An RFP with applicable drawings, plans, etc. will be posted to FedBizOpps on or around April 4, 2006 with a closing date approximately 30 days later. Work is expected to commence by mid-June 2006 with a completion date 180 days later. This acquisition will be set-aside for competition to HUBZone small business concerns.
