Description
This is a sources sought announcement for the sole purpose of conducting market research. The Government is not obligated to award a contract based on information received from potential sources. Responders will not be reimbursed for any information received and are encouraged not to provide proprietary data or business sensitive information. This market research announcement should not be considered a commitment of any kind by the Government. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This synopsis does not restrict the Government in the selection of the ultimate acquisition approach. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center,. Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking interested sources with the present capability to supply the following non-personal services. All non-personal services, supplies, facilities, tools and supervision for the pick-up, delivery, interim storage and retrieval of government-owned records on electronic storage media. Pick-up and delivery will be daily, Monday through Friday, less Saturday, Sunday and Federal holidays. Pick-up and delivery hours of operation will be from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm local time. The anticipated period of performance will be from October 2006 through September 30, 2007. F.O.B. terms: Destination. The successful offeror must provide a suitable pickup and delivery vehicle. Any resulting future solicitation will include provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974. Any resulting future solicitation will include and require the offeror to execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) as a condition of award. Reference VHA Handbook 1600.01 dated May 21, 2006. Minimum requirements for the storage facility are: 1. Must be physically located within a 50 mile radius of the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN. 2. 24-hour/7-day controlled access 3. 24 hour video surveillance 4. Outside dusk-to-dawn lighting. 5. Perimeter fencing. 6. Alarmed for intrusion detection at all points of entry. 7. Alarmed for fire detection and subsequent suppression. 8. Alarmed for water and smoke detection. 9. Storage facility must be physically located outside of the local flood plain. 10. Contractor shall furnish suitable hard-shell outside storage containers with tamper-resistant seals, a locking device, or both. 11. Actual storage location must be away from known sources of electromagnetic emissions. The Government requests interested parties submit one (1) copy of their capability and experience no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time on October 05, 2006. Please limit your reply to no more than five each, one-sided pages, 8.5 X 11 inch, with a font size no smaller than 10 point. Replies can be surface mailed to the following address: Richard L.
