Description

The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source procurement with B. Braun Medical Inc. 824 12th Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018-3524 under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 The NAICS Code is 334510 and the small business size standard is considered 6M. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ 600-781-07JM. This procurement is for annual preventive maintenance service, plus all parts, labor, travel to maintain dialysis machines to manufacturer specifications. On-site response time 24 hours. Services shall be provided to the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton St. Loma Linda, CA 92357. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. All interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit a proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all proposals received by 4:00 PM Pacific Standard time October 11, 2006. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
